Community of Concern (CC) is a joint PTO committee of high school and middle school parents working to raise awareness and educate about issues that impact the mental health and well-being of teens to foster a healthy, equitable and inclusive community. This work includes:
Hosting events on issues that impact adolescents, including stress, anxiety, depression, social media, discrimination and trauma, peer pressure and bullying, substance use and other risky behaviors
Sharing resources through PTO and school communications, social media, and outreach events
Partnering with students, school staff, other community organizations
