The Colorado state chapter of the National Association for Multicultural Education (CO-NAME) was awarded the 2023 Presidential Chapter Award by the National Association for Multicultural Education. Leaders and Co-chairs of CO-NAME, Dr. María L. Gabriel and Dr. Jan Perry Evenstad, were presented with the award at the conference awards banquet on Nov. 17, 2023 in Montgomery, AL.
