The Miami Police Department has officially started promotion cycles as of 8/5/2024, The promotion document will be listed below for review any time during the day. This Section will be updated at the start of each month after the promotions. Officers will be required to fill out patrol logs and show dedication on each patrol and will receive a promotion,
The Miami Police Department will also be doing Officer of the Month, Any member who goes up and beyond with dedication & puts in more hours than required will be considered the position of Officer of the Month.

Officer of the Month
Offc. Vacant :
This individual will receive access to the Sergeant Vehicle Structure for the next cycle. Individuals are permitted to use slick tops on these vehicles but can’t use the supervisor's livery or act in the manner of a supervisor. This privilege can be revoked if this individual has any issues with misconduct at administrative discretion.
