Lionizer

"It happened so quickly..."

—Jazz to Kup, All Hail Megatron #7

Lionizer is so manifestly good that there's really not a lot to say about him. In his specific case, the interaction with Peace through Tyranny can sometimes turn a fast-paced trading card game for 2 players into a single-roll dice game for 1 player. From a quantitative perspective, and assuming that we are that player, the one thing we need to optimize is our damage output with Bold 4. As in any hyperaggressive strategy, failing to fulfill our evil plan of closing the game the fastest we can, would leave us extremely vulnerable, and almost always cost us the game. More than ever before, we might need to flip the first white icon, but not the second one. Therefore, the quantity to optimize is the probability of flipping exactly 1 [W] with Bold 4. This probability is plotted as a function of the number of white cards we play. With 4 or 5 of them, our best chances correspond to an average of one success every three attempts.

Technical note: Every data point in this figure has been generated by recording the number of successes in flipping cards from the top of 100'000 simulations of its corresponding 40-card deck. Even if referred to as a probability, it is actually a normalized occurrence number.
