What is computer

It is an advanced programming as well as commanding devices that are generally used for storing and processing data in a binary language as per the given instructions though various programs. This electronic machine is mainly made up of two important components , which are Hardware and Software. Hardware includes physical components or equipment like CPU, Monitor, mouse etc. and software includes the programming data that helps in the daily operation. Computer Hardware:

As already mentioned, hardware refers to all physical components that are assembled together and made into a device. It is programming or application code that consists all important instructions that can be processed by the hardware to perform the task. The program or applications may include machine level code or written code for an operating prgrams like windows XP, windows 10, macos, ios etc. All the codes are done in a binary language. While buying or talking about the computer/ laptop, you have always heard about the operating system. It is the basic programming that mainly creates a dependable platform for the developers to build applications for performing specific or multi tasks. Applications can be easily replaced and updated if compared with the hardware. Moreover, software can be disseminate to various receivers. Computer system software can be divided into two important classes

System Software- It is a system program that is mainly developed to operate application and hardware. In simple terms, it works as an interface between two system units. System program includes operating System (OS), Basic input/output system (BIOS), device driver control etc.

Application Software- It is a program that has been developed mainly to accomplish the specific tasks. Some examples of this software is database programs, word processor, web browsers etc.
