Rachel runs Reuters’ coverage of political and general news in Europe. She began her role in February 2022, just as the war in Ukraine began.
Previously she was the finance and markets editor across Europe, Middle East and Africa for six years, overseeing coverage of the European banking sector.
Before that Rachel worked in Asia for five years, as a financial correspondent and Singapore Bureau Chief.
She began her career as a reporter at the UK’s Press Association.
Lianne captures key customer and market insights that inform the strategic direction of ONESOURCE indirect tax and marketing activities. With a blend of accounting, tax advisory, and tax technology consulting expertise, she helps shape the company's approach to meeting the evolving indirect tax compliance needs of its customers. Lianne’s natural enthusiasm and creativity enables her to drive messaging behind the tax solutions to empower tax departments to be leaders in digital transformation, embrace change and enable business growth in a rapidly changing compliance landscape. Outside of work, Lianne is a triathlon enthusiast.
Emre has joined Thomson Reuters 6 years ago and has been responsible for various senior technology leadership roles in his tenure. His current responsibilities include leading the AI initiatives for our Corporates Tax & Trade Segment, and leading the engineering teams for ONESOURCE Indirect Tax product line and ONESOURCE Platform shared capabilities.
Emre is a lifelong learner and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Koc University in Turkey, a Master's degree in Computer Science in University of Ottawa in Canada, and has recently graduated from Stanford University's Artificial Intelligence Professional Program.
Outside of work and family time, Emre liked to spend his time doing Crossfit workouts early in the mornings, woodworking on the weekends, and watching his little one in competitive gymnastics training.
Mike Dolan is Reuters Editor-at-Large for Finance & Markets and a daily columnist. He has worked as a correspondent, editor and commentator at Reuters for the past 30 years - specializing in global economic policy and financial markets. Mike is based in London but has worked in Washington DC and Sarajevo during his time in the newsroom. Mike is also a visiting lecturer on global economics at City University in London.
Lizzy Duffy is the Senior Director of Engagement for the Thomson Reuters Institute, where she focuses on research and strategic advisory for corporate tax departments and tax firms. Lizzy leverages empirical research and client engagement to understand the strategic priorities and market trends impacting corporate tax departments and translates those insights into actionable guidance. She is a frequent speaker and moderator at industry events and contributes to the Institute’s annual report on the state of corporate tax departments.
Jenifer Fernandez is the Director of Product Management for ONESOURCE Global Trade where she has direct responsiblity for the export and import management products as well as a variety of cross-platform tools. She is also leading the international expansion of our most widely used GTM products—most recently focusing on supporting complexities of the Japan global trade market. With a strong foundation in implementation and customer support in addition to product development, Jenifer brings deep expertise in U.S. special programs and related direct filings. Jenifer will be sharing insights on the evolving landscape of tariffs, drawing from her hands-on experience delivering solutions and guiding customers through the fast paced regulatory changes we are seeing in 2025.
Dr. Andrew Fletcher is a Director with Thomson Reuters Labs, a team of scientists, engineers and designers who build AI for Thomson Reuters products. Andrew is responsible for the AI strategy across the global Labs team, ensuring that the Labs research and application of the latest technology opportunities is connected to deep understanding of customer needs and market opportunities. Andrew has a PhD and Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, and before Thomson Reuters worked at Imperial College London within the innovation department who studied the approaches to innovation taken by many of the world’s leading companies.
Anthony works with our major global customers in our global Accounts programme to understand their tax and trade processes and develop a recommended ONESOURCE solution to fulfil their requirements. Anthony joined Thomson Reuters in 2015 and has since handled a wide range of customer engagements, from fast-growing businesses with worldwide growth aspirations to large multinationals undergoing multiyear tax transformation initiatives. Anthony is a big believer in optimising data quality and assurance, and he advises customers on this strategy throughout engagements.
Dan has been working with some of the most complex multinational clients for the last 20 years to develop efficient, streamlined tax reporting processes, including advising on Pillar Two readiness. He has been the lead solution architect across several tax provision implementations covering their tax provision and transfer pricing tools. This breadth of experience enables him to understand client problems and provide real, viable options for solutions.

Briony Kempton is the product marketing lead for Direct Tax at Thomson Reuters, working closely with our customers and internal teams to define and deliver the future strategy and roadmap. Our internal customer champion, Briony ensures core ONESOURCE functionality is developed in alignment to our clients’ changing needs. Before coming to Thomson Reuters, Briony was an Audit Director at EY.
Kip has over 18 years of experience at Deloitte, specialising in tax accounting solutions under IFRS, FRS 102, UK GAAP, and US GAAP for multinational clients, including recent work on the impact of Pillar Two. He leads Deloitte's UK Tax Accounting Advisory business within the Global Tax Accounting Group, which provides market-leading support ranging from tax provisioning outsourcing, complex tax accounting technical advice (e.g. M&A / business combinations, share-based payments) and process transformation programmes including technology implementations.
Rochelle is a director in Global Compliance & Reporting practice in EY. She has over a decade of expertise in Direct Tax and Group Tax Accounting, specializing in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards. Her extensive experience includes transforming Global Tax Accounting and Reporting processes into "Best-in-Class" frameworks for both publicly listed and privately owned multinational corporations. In the past two years, Rochelle has collaborated closely with Global Leaders to develop a cutting-edge global operating delivery model for BEPS Pillar Two, positioning MNEs to navigate the complexities of Pillar Two Reporting & Compliance with confidence and efficiency.
She has served as the Delivery Lead for multiple outsourcing engagements that focused on the implementation of the BEPS Pillar Two process and delivery operating model. She has collaborated with cross-functional teams to evaluate compliance requirements and develop operating models that align with the strategic priorities of multinational corporations. She has practical experience in designing comprehensive protocols that capture and communicate essential data requirements, enabling precise and efficient fulfilment of OECD requirements.
Ade McCormack is a former technologist with a background in astrophysics, now focused on helping organisations adapt to a complex world. He has been a Financial Times columnist on leadership for a decade and has lectured at MIT Sloan. Ade collaborates with the University of Cambridge’s Moller Institute on leadership education. His experience includes working in over forty countries with leading global brands. Ade has co-authored a book on reimagining government and written six books on strategic and societal issues. He has also worked with the European Commission on future skills in Europe.
Alex is a Senior Manager in the Tax Technology and Transformation practice at EY. He has over 10 years of experience working with large multinational companies in areas such as Direct tax compliance and group tax reporting.
With the introduction of BEPS 2.0. Pillar 2, Alex uses his compliance background to assist clients to understand some of the technological solutions to the tax technical aspects of CbCR, TCSH and Pillar 2 within the Tax Technology and Transformation team.
He leverages the synergies between CbCR, BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 and other compliance cycles to streamline processes, optimize reporting accuracy, and enhance overall tax compliance effectiveness.
Nazar Paradivskyy is a seasoned expert in e-invoicing and Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC), with extensive experience across Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. In his roles with TR Pagero, OpenPeppol, GENA, CIAT and OECD he engages in continuous dialogue with Tax Administrations, Digitalisation Agencies, Industry Associations, and User Communities to drive developments and efficiencies in e-invoicing and CTCs. Nazar has contributed to numerous consultations, studies and policies organised in various countries globally, as well as by the European Commission, particularly in the VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) initiative.
Laurence is a Senior Solution Architect, within the Solution Consulting Team for Thomson Reuters. His role is to understand customers’ business requirements so he can recommend the appropriate solution to meet both their strategic and immediate business goals. In addition, Laurence also channels client feedback to development teams for inclusion in product roadmaps, as he also has the responsibility of working with these teams to introduce new innovations within the Indirect applications for the ONESOURCE platform. Laurence started his career as an engineer developing both hardware and software. He later become a consultant engineer working across multiple business verticals before he specialized in pre-sales within the finance sector. Laurence received his postgraduate diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bradford University and undergraduate diploma from London Metropolitan University. He has a love of music, and any spare time is spent playing drums in bands.
Ellie specialises in tax reporting and has led numerous global tax technology projects, including Tax ERP and Tax Provisioning solutions. Her expertise lies in navigating complex data integration challenges within diverse business environments. She has been working with clients on Pillar Two readiness from a data and technology perspective and therefore understands the challenges they are facing.
Erik Stening focuses on automation and compliance solutions that help companies streamline operations and stay ahead of regulatory change. At Thomson Reuters, he is Director of Product Marketing for Pagero, supporting digital transformation and CTC compliance. With a strong background in automation and compliance, Erik turns complex challenges into clear, customer-focused strategies that deliver real business value.
Katie is an experienced tax technology specialist and implementation leader with an extensive track record of delivering successful ERP and tax solution integrations over more than a decade in the industry. During her career to date, she has overseen more than 50 large tax technology implementations, across 80-plus countries, taking responsibility for everything from designing and implementing GST and VAT to Sales & Use Tax on a global scale. Katie is dedicated to implementing comprehensive tax technology solutions; guiding clients from initial data gathering and design through to successful go-live. Her pragmatic and consultative approach is key to enabling best-in-class technology implementations.
Axel Threlfall is Editor-at-Large, Reuters, based in London. Alongside his editorial duties, he hosts high-profile engagements and thought leadership events for and on behalf of Reuters and Thomson Reuters, such as the Newsmaker series and the World Economic Forum news programming in Davos. He was previously Lead European Anchor for Reuters Digital Video. Prior to joining Reuters, Axel spent four years as an anchor for CNBC in London. Before that, he was an editor with The Wall Street Journal in New York and a news reporter for Bloomberg in London. He has also advised businesses and NGOs on their dealings with the international media. Axel is frequently asked to moderate events for international organizations, including the United Nations, the IMF and the OECD. He has a BA in History from Durham University and a postgraduate degree in journalism from City University, London.
