About Us

Welcome to Competitive Edge, your number one source for all things college baseball. We are dedicated to giving you the very best of coaching, with a focus on development, and the recruiting process .

Founded in 2017 by Juan Ranero, Competitive Edge has been a way for us as coaches to help develop and inspire young athletes to get out and play baseball at a high level with the hopes of playing professional baseball. When Coach Ranero first started out, his passion for developing young athletes drove him to create a camp so athletes can develop and hear how college coaches operate and what they look for during the recruiting process. Competitive Edge can offer you insight on how a college program is run not only through school but the baseball and recruiting side of everything. We now serve athletes all over the state, and are thrilled to turn our passion into our own camp.

We have signed a total of 4 student athletes to an athletic scholarship in the past 3 years. We take pride in ourselves in honest and accurate evaluations and we take them very seriously. The purpose for our ID Camps is to identify student athletes who may have been under the radar or who we have not seen enough of. We take advantage of this through our ID Camps.
