What are we doing?

What is the name of the Compassion project?

Growing the Hearts to Others Committee in 2019 - Compassion for Footprints

Is this project fun AND impactful? Yes! Hearts to Others is a committee designated for Ambassadors and Small Handers to show compassion to animals, marine life and our beautiful earth. This committee is to show people we can all learn a lot from ALL positive animals footprints and reduce our negative carbon footprints on our earth. We must show compassion to both. So, in 2019, let’s all agree to work hard to show even more compassion to our earth AND animals everywhere.

What would the Small Handers be doing, how many people will we need to help and how do you plan to market your idea? We need all the help we can get because we plan to have many compassion missions within this committee that team members can get involved in to show love to our furry friends and our earth. We plan to make flyers and use SHBHU social media outlets to promote our idea and recruit team members from all over the Triangle to this committee. We will also try and partner with other schools and organizations to see if they would like to come to any events we plan throughout the year. .

What kind of supplies would we need and what is your overall Operational Cost? We don’t think we will have any large operational cost but this will depend on how much community interest we have and how fast it grows. We will try and have most items donated by various families and fundraise throughout the year. We feel at first it may average about $200 over the entire year. We will definitely use all supplies SHBHU has already available. We need A LOT more team members to help us brainstorm on this idea though. So, please help us grow this Compassion Committee in 2019! If you are interested in showing compassion towards our furry friends, marine life and our beautiful earth let us know. We share this land, water and air with them and each other so why wouldn’t we want to show compassion?
