WIOA

The Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) was signed by President Barack Obama in 2014. WIOA places a greater emphasis on career pathways and regional collaboration, and has become the model for workforce development programs across the country.

Implementing WIOA funded programs has its challenges due to the multiple layers of programmatic requirements and customizing it to meet individualized needs. Many service providers and organizations have successfully developed and implemented WIOA programs.
