CompactPro operates as a 100% client-side application. All image compression, video transcoding, and file batching occur directly within the local memory of your client device (mobile, tablet, or PC).
Zero Cloud Data Upload:
Your media files, images, documents, and videos are never transmitted to external cloud servers, remote APIs, or third-party storage databases. All processing is strictly local.
2. Information Collection and Use
Because CompactPro processes everything locally on your device, we do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or user content.
- Personal Data: We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials.
- File Content & Metadata: Your files, photos, videos, file names, and EXIF metadata remain exclusively in local device memory during session compression.
- Tracking & Analytics: We do not include tracking cookies, analytics SDKs (e.g., Google Analytics), advertising identifiers, or user telemetry trackers.
3. Device Permissions
- File Storage Access: Used strictly to select target files and save compressed outputs directly to your selected output directory.
- Camera / Microphone (Optional): Only requested if you explicitly choose to capture live photos or video directly into the compressor queue.
4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR)
CompactPro complies fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because no personal information or files leave your device, CompactPro is safe for users of all ages.

Your data security is guaranteed by operating inside your device's native application sandbox. Without any server-side database or remote API transmission, your data cannot be intercepted in transit or compromised via remote database breaches.
