Dr Chennakesava Kadapa leads the lab. Dr Kadapa is an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University.
Dr Kadapa has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University, United Kingdom. Dr Kadapa is a recipient of the prestigious Zienkiewicz scholarship for his PhD at Swansea University. Before joining Napier, Dr Kadapa worked as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bolton. Dr Kadapa is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Dr Kadapa is also a member of the UKACM board and ASME UK Section leadership team.
Dr Kadapa published several single-author and first-author papers in the prestigious international journals for Computational Mechanics.
Dr Kadapa teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University.

Dr Ehsan Adeeb
Dr Adeeb is an expert in CFD, Lattice Boltzman method and GPU computing. He is working on MAPFSI project, developing FSI framework for the interaction of thin soft flexible structures made of magnetoactive polymer against fluids inside confined geometries.
Dr Abhishek Ghosh
Dr Ghosh is an expert in continuum mechanics, nonlinear elasticity, magneto-elasticity and FEM. He is working on MAPFSI project (at Swansea University), developing finite elements for beam and shell structures made of magnetoactive polymer.

Mr Raheel Usmani (2025-
Raheel comes with a strong background in fluid mechanics. Raheel's PhD focusses on FEM schemes for fluid-structure interaction problems with thin structures and high Reynolds number flows.
Mr Zhiqiang Guan (2024-)
Zhiqiang is PhD student in collaboration with Prof. Xu Guo and Prof. Yue Mei at Dalian University of Technology, China. Zhiqiang has a strong background in solid mechanics and topology optimisation. Zhiqiang's PhD focusses on CutFEM for topology optimisation of nonlinear elasticity and multiphysics problems.
