For many years, Community Voices for Change was an in-studio, live broadcast effort by Richard Rudolph at WMPG-FM (90.9 on the FM dial) located at the University of Southern Maine (USA).
In 2020, the challenges of the COVID pandemic forced the program to become an off-site, virtual effort in order to maintain regular programming. Since then, the virtual format and pre-recording of the program has allowed for a greater flexibility in accommodating guests and has broadened the topics for discussion.
In 2026, WMPG also began releasing Community Voices for Change as a podcast on its own web site and also at the podcast sites Spreaker and iHeart Radio where the program can now be heard on demand as well as over broadcast radio via WMPG's schedule. (Currently Mondays at 1:00 PM)
We are always interested in hearing from interesting presenters. Even if you do not consider yourself a public orator, you may know if a person or organization that may have something to share, so we would like ot hear from you.
