How it Works ✅

Early Drop-offs: October 2025

Drop off your new or gently used supplies early or on Swap Day. We have locations around our community so you only need to make one trip to Livingston for the swap. Add your name to a list of swappers when you drop off supplies to get early entry on Swap Day.

• Clyde Park - TWO OPTIONS!!

  • Glenn's Shopping Center (504 Miles St, Clyde Park, MT 59018): Sat.-Tues., Oct. 18-21), 8am-7pm (regular business hours)

  • Crazy's (508 Miles Ave, Clyde Park, MT 59018): Wed.-Sun., Oct. 15-19, 7am-2pm (regular business hours beginning 10/15 at 12pm) **use this site for large volume drop-offs, pls!

• Big Timber at Carnegie Public Library (314 McLeod St, Big Timber, MT 59011): Fri.-Wed., Oct. 17-22 (10am-6pm, weekdays only - regular business hours)

• Emigrant at Wildlfour Bakery (4 Overlook Rd Emigrant, MT 59027): Thurs., Oct. 16, 12-2pm and Fri.-Sun., Oct. 19, 7:30-2pm - NEW ✨ for Fall 2025

• Gardiner (207 S 3rd St, Gardiner, MT 59030 - corner of Stone and 3rd St, downstairs front porch): Thurs.-Wed., Oct. 16-22 (anytime is okay)

• Livingston at Old Lumberyard (122 North F Street, Livingston, MT 59047): Wed.-Fri. (Oct. 22-24): 12-3pm 

• Bozeman at Studio Wheelhouse (10 Evergreen Dr., Suite B, Bozeman MT 59715):  sometime during week before the swap during Open Studios and maybe some other hours! - TBA! - NEW ✨ for Fall 2025

As a courtesy to our drop-off locations other than the Old Lumberyard, please give us a heads up if you are leaving more than 3 boxes. We will pick them up early and keep space open for these awesome locations! 📦📦📦

  • Museum of Unfinished Projects ✨ Your unfinished projects are invited to be lovingly cataloged, displayed, and offered to folks who can finish them.

Suggested Materials 🎨

This swap is about usable crafting and art making materials and supplies. Bring clean, new or gently used craft supplies donations including:

Fabric & Sewing: fabric (fat quarter+), sewing notions, thread, trim/binding, zippers, buttons, quilting/sewing, machines. Leave your cut up t-shirts, stuffing from your sofa, old pillows, or clothing at home.

Fiber & Needlework: yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, stitch counters, thread, patterns, kits, counted cross stitch, embroidery supplies, hoops, floss

Drawing & Paint: inks, pencils, paints, brushes (clean), graphite, pastels, erasers, chalks, charcoals, markers

Canvas & Paper: canvas, watercolor paper, drawing paper, scratch boards, panels, sketchbooks, construction paper, newsprint

Beads & Jewelry: Beads & beading supplies, jewelry making supplies and tools

Crafts & Hobbies: containers of all sorts, artificial flowers, foam, felt, scrapbooking supplies, card-making supplies, rubber stamps, usable ink pads, embossing tools/heat tools, useable children’s crafts (kits or supplies), decorative containers/baskets for floral arrangements, small wood cutouts (unpainted), craft foam sheets or shapes, stencils, leather and leather scraps, bookmaking supplies

Tools (in clean, working order): scissors, glue guns, soldering irons, craft knives, hole punches, easels, photo equipment, pottery tools, rulers

Frames: Picture frames (empty), shadow boxes, framing supplies

Books & Patterns: art/craft instruction books, art/craft magazines, patterns, and store bought crafting kits, instructional craft books and pattern books, clothing, doll clothing, home décor

General Supplies: glue, tape, butcher paper, sandpaper, cotton swabs, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, google eye

Clay: clay, clay tools or equipment

Museum of Unfinished Projects: Your unfinished projects are invited to be lovingly cataloged, displayed, and offered to folks who want to finish them. Leave info with the project if you're okay with being contacted by the person who takes it home and want to see progress.
