Community Christian Church exists for the following purposes:
Worship God through the holiness of our lives and by the corporate expression of our hearts.
Teach His Word for the equipping of believers for the work of the ministry.
Fellowship together through mutual life sharing and mutual ministry to one another to result in the building up of the body of Christ.
Evangelize by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as a way of life with those in our community and by sending missionaries to the worlds.
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings; they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and both fully God and man.
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. All human beings are born with a sinful nature and must be born again to be made right with God.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice. All who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood and are saved by grace through faith (not works).
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord and His ascension into Heaven. His ministry for us continues there as High Priest and Advocate.
We believe that all who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God. Believers are indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit, and are secured until the day of redemption.
We believe the Church of Jesus Christ was begun at Pentecost and is composed only of believers. Its business is the winning of souls to Christ and the edification of the body.
We believe that for the person who receives the Lord Jesus as his Savior, water baptism is an ordained testimony that portrays the believer's union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord's supper was instituted by Christ to commemorate His death until He comes. Neither water baptism nor the Lord's supper have saving merit.
We believe that the Scriptures teach that every believer should live a life of separation unto the Lord from all worldly and sinful practices, to abide in Christ, walk in the Spirit, and enjoy victory over the world, flesh, and devil.
We believe in "that blessed hope," the personal and imminent coming of our Lord in the air for His saints.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust. The saved will receive everlasting blessedness and the lost will receive everlasting punishment.
We believe that Satan is a personal being, a fallen angel, the prince of demons, the great enticer and deceiver, the god of this age, and the adversary of Christ and His church. His destiny is eternal punishment.
