Kayla Garber

Infant Co-Lead Teacher

My name is Ms. Kayla and I have three children of my own. I have always loved working with children, whether they are my own or those of someone else it has always brought me joy. I love to watch them grow and help them learn new things. Early Childhood Education is a very challenging but also very rewarding field to work in. They offer so much unconditional love and kindeness to all!

Infant Co-Lead Teacher

Hi there, I am Ms. Dee! I was born and raised in New York but I come from a Puerto Rican family. I love the country life which is what brought me to Virgnia. I have been working with kids for over 16 years with ages 6 weeks old to 12 years old. In New York I spent 4 years working as a Special Education Teachers Assistant and although it was challenging, my heart and dedication to working with kids grew even more, but my heart has always been with infants. Working alongside parents at CCLC to teach their infants how to accomplish gross, fine motor, and language skills while they are in my care! I look forward to working with new families and babies as we continue to enroll new families!

Hello, my name is Ms. Alexia! I have had the pleasure of working with children for almost 6 years now. For me, the best feeling in the world is knowing that I am the one making babies smile. If I am not working with children, most of the time you can find me acting at a local theater or spending time with my family! I am so thankful for the opportunity to be apart of an infants earliest walk of life.

Waddlers Lead Teacher

My name is Jean Murphy. I am one of the co-lead teachers in the waddler room. I love seeing the students faces light up whenever they learn something new. The relationships you can build with the children so they can feel secure and have fun while doing activities that help them learn new things is amazing. I am married and have a daughter; and I just recently became a grandma to my first grandson!

Hi there, my name is Victoria but everyone calls me Tori! I am a graduate from Stonewall Jackson Highs School and I have always had a passion for working with kids. I have always enjoyed working with and being around them because their potential is endless and they are always a breath of fresh air! In the future I would love to become a paraprofessional and continue expanding my experience of working with kids.

Lisa Kibler

Hi there, my name is Ms. Lisa! I have two children of my own, 4 step-children, 3 dogs and farm animals and I'm currently in the process of obtaining my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. My favorite thing about working with children daily is being able to watch their minds grow as they learn new things. Personally, I grew up in a big family; being the oldest, I always watched and helped care for my younger siblings. For professional experience,I have workined in centers as well as have had my own in home child care facility. I have a range of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of group sizes, cultural backgrounds, as well as students with disabilities.

Hello, I'm Ms. Morgan. I am a qualfied lead teacher and float in various rooms depending on where I am needed. I work with so many amazing children everyday and have absolutely loved getting to know them. I have been working with kids for a few years now and absolutely love it. I love music, art, spending time outdoors, road trips, and going to the beach! I love spending time with my family and fur animals.

Hi, my name is Ms. Sarah! I have worked in childcare for my entire adult life and attended WVU after high school. My passion has always been working with children, and I enjoy spending time with my family. My greatest accomplishment is my daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with our animals, which include a dog, a guinea pig, and four ducks. My favorite thing about working in childcare is not just teaching children, but also learning new things from them every day.

Hi, I am Ms. Laura! I am a local native to the Shenandoah Valley. My husband and I got married in 2023, and I received my Bachelor's in Social Work in 2005. I have 5+ years experience working with children, and their ages range from birth up until about 12 years old. I love working with children to help influence their development through both educational and life experiences.

My name is Ms. Havanna. I am a graduate of Broadway High School and I am currently studying at Blue Ridge Community College. I come from a large family, which sparked my love for caring for children. I am expecting my first child, a baby girl, in April of 2026! I am very passionate about helping children learn, grow, and embrace their unique personalities. I enjoy hunting, camping, and horseback riding! I also grew up on a farm so I enjoy working with animals. I am proud to be a part of the CCLC family and love working with each child!

Hello everyone, I am Ms. Cheyenne. I went to Stonewall Jackson High School here in the Shenandoah Valley. I have always loved working with children because they are always so open and provide us with a unique understanding of how our brains learn and develop as we grow. The thing I love most about working with them is the relationships we are able to build with them. I am so grateful for our parents that have given me the opportunity to watch their children grow and flourish. Outside of work I love to read, fish with my family, or spend time outside.

Hi! My name is Lilian, and I am originally from Alexandria, Virginia but have moved around quite a bit and recently landed in Broadway! I attended Osborn Park High School and after graduation jumped into working with preschool kids at an elementary school. I absolutely love working with children and seeing how quickly they change and learn as they grow. It has always brought me so much peace to be someone so littles safe space!
