Meet Our Teachers

Katherine Torrence

My name is Katherine, but most people call me Kate! I am the new to the infant room here at CCLC and am one of the Lead Teachers! I love the environment here and the family like bond we have with the kiddos! I look forward to helping your little ones grow and learn!

Karen Bartlett

Infant Room Co-Lead Teacher

My name is Karen. I started out as a volunteer for CCLC and got hired on to be the co-lead teacher of the waddler room. I then moved to the infant room and became a co-lead in this classroom. I really enjoy working with children, everyday is a new adventure!

Brittany Ripley

Older Infant Room Lead Teacher

My name is Brittany. I have two wonderful daughters and have grown up in Shenandoah Valley most of my life. I love working in child care as I get to help them learn and grow into their own little individual people. I am thankful I get to be a part of so many wonderful kids' lives! I have worked with a variety of students in different classrooms and love learning all about them!

Lacey Nouvel

Infant Room Co-Lead Teacher

Hi, my name is Lacey. I've been working in childcare for 6 years now and can't imagine myself doing anything else. I love watching children grow as well as giving them a safe space to be themselves. Working at CCLC has provided a sense of love and community with the students and family that I haven't experienced before. I'm excited to continue growing in my career here and teaching my wonderful students.

Jean Murphy

Waddlers Lead Teacher

My name is Jean Murphy. I am one of the co-lead teachers in the waddler room. I love seeing the students faces light up whenever they learn something new. The relationships you can build with the children so they can feel secure and have fun while doing activities that help them learn new things is amazing. I am married and have a daughter; and I just recently became a grandma to my first grandson!

Erin Holloran

Waddlers Closing Lead Teacher

Hi, my name is Erin! I have worked in childcare for about 9 years. I enjoy helping and watching students learn and grow. I appreciate how honest children are and how they express themselves. I always look forward to coming into work knowing that the children in our care will help make me a better teacher while also knowing that they are going to make my day better!

Coralynn Good

Waddlers Assistant Teacher

Hello, My name is Coralynn. I am a wife and boy mom. I have been in child care for 6 years now and have worked with all age groups from infant to school age kids. I love working in child care because every day is different and I enjoy watching the kids grow and learn new things. The best part about coming to work is when the kids are so excited to see me, and give me the biggest hugs. I couldn't see myself doing any other job than child care.

Skylar Sours

2 Year Old Teacher

Hi, I’m Skylar Sours and I am the Twos lead. I am currently going to school for Early Childhood Education. My favorite part of my job is watching them learn something new and their faces light up. I am excited to watch them continue to grow.

Casey Ralph

2 Year Old Lead Teacher

I am a mother, wife, and a teacher. I have been in childcare for the better part of ten years. I love seeing children grow and learn! It is so important to me to be able to be apart of their growth and development. Children are the future, so teaching and shaping their young minds is such a rewarding experience. When I am not at CCLC I enjoy spending time with my goats, chickens, dogs, and cats.
