We have been around since 2016 creating community art throughout the region even though the name Community Art Collaborative and nonprofit status are recent (2022). All of our projects are designed and completed by the stakeholders, neighbors, and volunteers. We beautify neighborhoods, walls, and buildings with everyone who wants to be involved. The CAC has several projects coming up for which we will solicit volunteers. To get on our volunteer mailing list, fill out the form at the bottom of this page!
Below are some of our larger projects that are ongoing. We also have many murals and art installations around town that we directed or assisted such as the Earl Jackson Pool, Hemenway Center, DC Virgo, Mosley Career Readiness Center, Myrtle Grove Middle School, Elderhaus, and 910 Rocks! Since 2016, the Forest of DREAMS mural has included creatures from 76 local organizations and over 600 volunteers! Check out the website, documentary, magazine and journal publications.
The Black Lives Do Matter Art installation was created by Eighteen Forward in 2020. See the documentary telling the story behind the art installation created by 18 artists/groups and 100 volunteers.
Since 2020, artists can get free billboards on Grey Outdoor digital billboards through Highway Art! Feel free to apply for you free billboard now!
