Guidelines

• This is a take something leave something system. This is also an honorbound system. This means that everything is free to take and share and trade. However, it is vital to respect the art and contributions of others in this space so only take what truly inspires you. And because this is an honorbound system, there is no need to add something right away. You can come back another day and add a doodle you did on a sticky note or a button you found on the street, or you can be a main contributor and leave multiple zines or stickers or paintings. There is no time limit or deadline and it is all up to you.

• Anything that is put into the box must be DIY, self made, traded, upcycled, and/or found. If your going to contribute, give a contribution of your own making. This means more in this space.

• Respect the space and the network. This goes without saying, but don’t be a dick. If you don’t agree with something in the space, that’s ok. Respect the fact that someone else believes something different. (With that being said, we will be consistently checking that no hateful things are being cultivated in these spaces.) Also it never hurts to help out a bit if you see a spider web or a leak, feel free to fix it up and/or let us know with the contact info available.

• Respect the location. There are multiple boxes/containers being hosted at multiple small businesses and collective spaces. Give them support and kindness. Also keep in mind that they are not responsible for the box network and that there is contact info available attached to the box for questions.

• Lastly, create genuinely!! Make what feels right. Leave what you believe should be out in the world. Use your expression to help build a community. <3
