After several years of distributing a text-only newsletter, the Laney Graduate School desired to produce a weekly publication that was both visually appealing and user-friendly. In 2019, I led the charge of creating a revamped newsletter that accomplished both of those tasks, but increased readership.
Before: Text-Only Newsletter
The original newsletter was distributed in the form of a text-heavy email. In this format, we were unable to measure readership, create anchor links for quicker reading, or ensure easy readership.
Now: The Laney GradReport
The current newsletter, The Laney Grad Report, is a user-friendly, stylish revamp of our traditional weekly publication. Through the Laney Graduate Report, we were able to share feature stories, access to student resources, and a wealth of opportunities.
