History of the Institution
A Journey from Commitment to Excellence
Committed Classroom began its journey in 2012 under the leadership of its founder, Muhammad Jahangir Alam, with a clear vision: to provide quality education through concept-based learning rather than rote memorization.
During its early years, the institution focused primarily on English education for HSC and Honours students. At that time, all classes were personally conducted by the founder. His dedication, effective teaching methods and commitment to academic excellence gradually earned the trust of students and parents, creating a strong foundation for the institution's growth.
A New Chapter: 2021
As the number of learners and the demand for academic support continued to grow, 2021 marked a new phase in the development of Committed Classroom.
During this period, the institution formed a team of qualified and dedicated teachers and expanded its academic activities to include English, Bangla and ICT. It was also during this period that the name Committed Classroom was formally adopted as the institutional identity, reflecting the vision of providing comprehensive academic support under one platform.
Alongside its academic programs, the institution introduced a range of language and skill-development courses, including IELTS, PTE, Spoken English and Basic Language Skills.
To provide learners with opportunities to practise English in a more practical and engaging environment, the Committed Classroom English Language Club was established. The club continues to serve as a platform for English practice, communication skills and confidence building.
Growing Through Change
The institution experienced a temporary reduction in academic activities during 2024. However, Committed Classroom remained committed to its core values and subsequently resumed its academic operations with renewed energy, improved planning and a more structured approach.
In 2025, responding to growing demand from students and parents, Committed Classroom initiated an expansion plan to provide academic support for Classes 06 to 10.
As part of this initiative, a dedicated team of six teachers successfully conducted a pilot program for Classes 06–08.
Following a careful evaluation of the institution's long-term vision, academic strengths and areas where it could make the greatest impact, the management decided to focus its academic strength and resources on selected academic levels and professional education.
This strategic decision has enabled Committed Classroom to concentrate more deeply on the areas where it has the strongest academic experience and expertise.
What We Do Today
