Join all '83 disciplines at the main event featuring the Bromantics from Montreal. Band Members include our very own Com'83 Jake Chadwick! (and,we have heard from classmates who have heard them play that they are really good!)
In support of Jack.org, the main event of the weekend is the band/dance at BLU Martini. Not only will it be a night of fun listening to our favourite tunes from the 80's but we will be contributing to a very worthy cause supporting youth mental health - Jack.org
About the band
The Bromantics are a Montreal group formed out of a beer league hockey locker room in 2017 by four friends passionate about music. Playing mostly covers of classic rockers like the Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Springsteen and the Tragically Hip, they have also written a few of their own compositions. They are regular performers at Montreal music events like NDG Porchfest and have curated some hits from the late 70's and early 80's to get the crowd moving at the BLU Martini on the Queen's '83 reunion weekend.
Cost: $21 (advance registration available online ) or $30 (cash only) at the door
Note: If you attend the BLU Martini dinner, the cost of the band is included.
You will not receive a ticket for this event. Your name will be on a list to be checked at the door
Although '83 faculties have first dibs on band tickets, the venue holds 400 people and doors will be open to the public if we don't sell out! So feel free to invite family and friends.
