Thank you for your participation at NOVA's 2024 Commencement at GMU, Eagle Bank Arena.
We are excited to serve, recognize, and celebrate with our graduates on their special day.

General Information:
WHEN: SUNDAY, May 12, 2024 Ceremony Begins at 1:00 pm
WHERE: George Mason University, Eagle Bank Arena (4500 Patriot Cir. Fairfax, VA 22030)
PARKING: Please park in Lots K and L to allow more parking for our graduates and guests.
Enter: Enter through the Administrative Office Entrance, Lower East Side, Next to the loading dock area.
ASSIGNMENT TIME: Please arrive by 10:00 am. This allows you to check in, look around, eat, socialize and get to your placement on time. *** Some assignments have earlier arrival times. Please see below for your assignment.
ATTIRE:
Faculty Marshals: Academic regalia and comfortable shoes.
General Grad Team Members: Grad Team Green and White polo. If you do not have a Grad Team Polo, a White polo, blouse or dress shirt, paired with dark pants/skirt. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Personal Items: Please make sure to secure your personal belongs. NVCC, GMU and Eaglebank are not responsible for the security of your belongings. There is now a clear bag policy.
Misc: In Northern Virginia, the weather can be unpredictable. Faculty Marshals and those members who are assigned to outside location, you may want to bring sunscreen and sunglasses.
EagleBank Arena...Clear Bag Policy: This applies to the Grad Team as well.
All Polices are listed here. Please review in case you receive questions from graduates or guests.
EagleBank Arena is encouraging guests to not bring a bag, in order to help enhance the contactless experience. If you require a bag for your personal belongings, EagleBank Arena has adopted a clear bag policy and must adhere to the following:
Clear Bag:
· Bag must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC with no obscured inside pockets
· Bag must not exceed 12”x12”x6”
· Bag may be 1 gallon plastic zip lock style bag
Clutch Style Bag or Purse:
· Non-clear clutch style bag or purse must not exceed 5”x7”
Small Medical and/or Parenting Bags
· Will be permitted on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to increased security screening.

If you signed up to be a Faculty Marshal, you will serve as a Faculty Marshal.
All other positions will be considered a General Team Member.
