I am interested in my status as a high school student/young person dealing with life + friends and how that can be combined with current trends in internet pop culture. Animals like seals and cats are based in real life, but can be edited on a digital surface to seem 'funnier' or more 'whimsical'. This is similar to someone’s memories, which capture reality in emotion-influenced snapshots. This 'twisting/editing' of reality is what I aim to capture, but with an emphasis on my external interests (memes, hobbies) and how these connect to my often (perceived) bleak reality.
