Terms of Service

> By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the following terms:

> General Terms

• I reserve the right to refuse a commission.

• I may cancel a commission for any reason.

• Full payment is expected after sketch is approved. 

• Do NOT use my art for AI or any blockchain type technology.

• Do NOT claim my art as yours. Please credit me.

• Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

> Art Permissions

• I, as the artist, retain rights to the commissioned piece.

  • I may use it in my social media, but the commissioner may request otherwise.

• As the commissioner you may use it for personal use.

  • Feel free to print it or make edits such as cropping or resizing. 

  • If you post it, please include credit to ComicWolf!

• The commissioner may NOT:

  • Claim the art as their own

  • Use the art for commercial purposes (This is negotiable with a purchase of the rights for 3x the original price.)

  • Remove the watermark

• If you are unsure what you can do with your piece, feel free to ask!

> Process, Revisions, and Timeline

• Please contact me by joining this DISCORD SERVER (pref), messaging ComicWolf on toyhou.se/tumblr, or emailing comicthewolf@gmail.com !

• Canvas sized is negotiable! I tend to use 2048 x 2048 [square] or 1800 x 1600 [rectangle]

• Once the sketch has been sent, the commission will be on pause until you pay in full! 

• WORK IN PROGRESSES will be sent as requested, but at the very least 3 times:

  • • Sketch

    • Lineart

    • Color

    • Background work (if applicable)

  • Please inform me of any revisions during each stage as it will be more difficult to go back once the next stage is completed. The sketch stage is the most flexible.

• Please allow me a week to 3 months to complete a commission! 

  • If I do not think I can complete it, I will let you know. If payment was sent, I will refund accordingly.

> Refunds

• Requests for refunds will be dependent on the stage of the commission:

  • Sketch - Full refund (or likely not paid for yet)

  • Lineart - 75% Refund

  • Colored - 25% Refund

• A completed piece is NOT applicable for a refund of any level.

• If I, the artist, cancels the commission then a full refund will be granted.

> By buying a design/custom by me, you are agreeing to these following terms in addition to above:

> Designs and Customs

• BOUGHT Designs CAN BE traded, resold, gifted, and redesigned.

  • Preferably redesigns should still have some resemblance to original design!

• IF it was given to you as a gift, please let me know if you decide to give them away. 

  • DO NOT sell them for currency without commissioned artwork.

• Please credit me for the original designs.

> Artist's Boundaries

Please feel free to ask me if I can draw something!
I am open to new things, but I will happily let you know if it exceeds my abilities.
* Feel free to ask what is complex to me. I may be able to still, just with greater struggle!

I DO NOT associate with anything that the buyer decides to do with the art or character after it has been completed. 

In the same vein, please let me know if I draw something problematic or have drawn for someone problematic with proof because I do not get around the internet enough to know everything all the time! Please give me some grace!
