Comicfs Canning Rack 7.5 is my top pick for its versatile balance of size and stability, making it the ideal workhorse for most home canning and baking tasks. If you need something slightly more compact for smaller pots or toaster ovens, the Comicfs Canning Rack 6.5 offers a tighter fit without sacrificing that same heavy-duty durability.
• Comicfs Canning Rack 7.5 — best for general-purpose canning and large baking sheets; pick this if you need a sturdy mid-size platform that fits standard pressure cookers and air fryers perfectly.
• Comicfs Canning Rack 6.5 — best for small-batch cooking and tight appliance spaces; pick this if your pot or oven interior requires a snugger diameter to prevent shifting.
• Comicfs Round Cooling Rack — best for everyday cooling of cookies and pies; pick this if you want a reliable 7-inch option that doubles as a steaming base for medium-sized stockpots.
• Comicfs Round Cooking Rack — best for family-sized roasting and grilling; pick this if you need an 11-inch surface to handle large cakes, whole chickens, or big grill loads.
• Comicfs Cooling Rack Dia — best for maximum capacity and outdoor grilling; pick this if you require the widest possible grid to accommodate oversized Dutch ovens or large batches of food.
When I look at the lineup of stainless steel grids available today, the Comicfs Canning Rack 7.5 stands out as the most practical all-rounder. It sits right in the middle of the size spectrum, offering a diameter that accommodates everything from standard mason jars to average-sized baking pans. The 304 stainless steel construction feels substantial in the hand, promising a tool that will not warp under high heat or rust after years of dishwasher cycles. Its height of one inch is a critical detail; it lifts food just enough to allow hot air to circulate underneath for even drying, yet stays low enough to fit comfortably inside most toaster ovens and compact air fryer baskets.
This rack is designed for the baker who wants reliability over novelty. The three-footed base eliminates any wobble, which is a common frustration with cheaper wire mats that slide around on countertops. Whether you are draining fried foods, cooling a fresh batch of cookies, or using it as a trivet to protect your counter from a hot pot, the smooth edges and spot-welded joints ensure safety and ease of cleaning. The thick gauge wire provides a rigid surface that won't sag when you place a heavy casserole dish on top, making it a true multitasker in the kitchen.
In my opinion, this is the single purchase most people should start with because it covers the widest range of daily scenarios. You can use it for steaming vegetables, supporting soup pots, or even as a grate for barbecue. The trade-off here is simply that it might be too large for very small, specialized appliances like mini pressure cookers, but for the vast majority of kitchens, the 7.5-inch footprint is the sweet spot between utility and storage space.
The Comicfs Canning Rack 6.5 is essentially the smaller sibling to the 7.5 model, retaining every bit of the build quality while shrinking the footprint to suit tighter constraints. If your primary cooking vessel is a small Instant Pot or a narrow toaster oven, this version is the logical choice. The 304 stainless steel remains just as robust, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1470 degrees Fahrenheit without losing its shape or structural integrity. Like its larger counterpart, it features three legs that provide a stable, non-slip foundation, ensuring your hot dishes do not tip over during cooling or serving.

I find this rack particularly useful for those who bake frequently but have limited cabinet space. Its compact nature means it slides easily into drawers or hangs conveniently on a rack, yet it still performs the heavy lifting required for steaming eggs or holding down a small pie crust. The wire mesh is woven tightly enough to support delicate items without them falling through, while the open design allows moisture to escape quickly, preventing soggy bottoms on baked goods.
The main consideration with this model is capacity; it is simply not wide enough for large roasting pans or full-sized Dutch ovens. However, for specific tasks like steaming a few eggs, cooling a small tart, or acting as a trivet for a single mug of hot soup, it excels. If you already own a larger rack and need a dedicated tool for smaller appliances, this is the perfect companion piece to expand your kitchen's versatility.
Stepping up in size, the Comicfs Round Cooling Rack brings a 7-inch diameter to the table, bridging the gap between the compact 6.5 and the larger 11-inch options. This specific model is tailored for the home baker who needs a reliable surface for cooling cookies, cakes, and pastries without taking up excessive room on the counter. The mirror-polished finish and seamless welding make it easy to wipe clean, and the material ensures it won't impart any metallic taste to your food, keeping flavors pure whether you are roasting vegetables or steaming dumplings.
What sets this rack apart in my view is its adaptability. While it is marketed heavily as a cooling station, the one-inch leg height makes it an excellent substitute for a steaming insert in pots where a dedicated rack might not fit. You can place a layer of water below and stack your food above, utilizing the cross-wire design to maximize airflow. The heavy-duty construction means it can support the weight of a wet, dense cake or a tray of glazed donuts without bending, providing a flat, stable surface for decoration and serving.
The trade-off is that it occupies a bit more drawer space than the 6.5 model, so if you are extremely space-constrained, you might prefer the smaller option. However, for anyone who bakes regularly and needs a dedicated, sturdy platform that doesn't compromise on stability, this 7-inch round rack is a solid investment. It handles the transition from oven to counter with grace, protecting your surfaces from heat damage while allowing your treats to breathe.
For those who cook for families or host gatherings, the Comicfs Round Cooking Rack at 11 inches offers the surface area needed for serious meal preparation. This is the tool you reach for when you are roasting a whole chicken, grilling a large batch of sausages, or baking a sheet cake that needs to cool evenly across its entire width. The 304 stainless steel construction scales up perfectly, maintaining the same rigidity and heat resistance as the smaller models despite the larger span. The three-legged design ensures that even when loaded with heavy food, the rack remains level and secure, preventing spills or accidents.
I recommend this rack for anyone who uses their oven or grill for more than just simple sides. The open grid allows for efficient heat circulation, which is crucial for getting crispy skins on roasted meats or even browning on grilled vegetables. It also serves as a fantastic catch-all for drippings when you are preparing fried foods, keeping your stovetop or counter clean. The durability of the spot-welded joints means you can scrub it vigorously or toss it in the dishwasher without worrying about the structure coming apart.
The only limitation to consider is storage; an 11-inch round rack requires a wider drawer or a dedicated hanging spot. It is less convenient for quick, single-serving tasks compared to the smaller variants. However, when the job requires handling large volumes of food or fitting into a large Dutch oven, nothing else in this lineup compares. It transforms a standard pot or oven into a professional-grade cooking station, making it indispensable for hearty cooking sessions.
At the top end of the size spectrum, the Comicfs Cooling Rack Dia (11.6 inches) is built for maximum capacity and heavy-duty applications. This is the ultimate choice for large-scale cooking, outdoor barbecues, or anyone who frequently uses oversized cookware like giant stockpots or wide Dutch ovens. The extra half-inch over the 11-inch model provides just enough clearance to fit bulkier items without touching the edges, ensuring consistent cooking results. The heavy-gauge wire and thick frame maintain their shape even under significant weight, proving that size does not come at the cost of strength.
In my experience, having a rack this wide is a game-changer for streamlining meal prep. You can lay out an entire tray of appetizers, cool multiple large pies simultaneously, or use it as a trivet for a massive cast-iron skillet. The one-inch legs are crucial here, providing ample clearance for steam to escape and air to circulate beneath large loads of food. The polished stainless steel surface resists corrosion and staining, making it suitable for acidic marinades or salty brines often used in large-batch canning or curing projects.
While it is undeniably the most spacious option, it demands the most storage real estate. If your kitchen cabinets are shallow or crowded, this rack might be challenging to store alongside other gear. Additionally, it may not fit in smaller countertop appliances like compact air fryers. Nevertheless, for the chef who prioritizes capacity and versatility, this is the definitive solution. It handles the heaviest loads with ease, turning any large vessel into a high-performance cooking environment.

Absolutely. The mirror-polished stainless steel and seamless welding are designed to withstand dishwasher cycles without rusting or degrading.
