Why We Exist

In a world where too many are forgotten, neglected, or marginalized, we stand as a beacon of hope. Comfort Arms Foundation (CAF) is a local nonprofit organization registered with government of Malawi through register general founded in January 2023 and is having an office at MCP regional Offices in Mzuzu City, Mzimba District, Northern Region, MALAWI.

Mission Statement

  "To empower vulnerable communities by providing holistic support and sustainable solutions that address the needs of youth, orphans, teen mothers, widows, and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Through initiatives in water and sanitation, agriculture, and education, we strive to foster resilience, self-reliance, and improved quality of life for all."

1. Advancing Children’s Education: Providing innovative and inclusive educational opportunities that enable orphans and vulnerable children's to achieve their fullest potential and become lifelong learners in the communities.

2. Empowering Youth: Equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and support they need to drive positive change and become leaders in their communities.

3. Promoting Gender Equity: Championing equality and dismantling barriers to ensure that every individual, regardless of gender, has equal access to opportunities and resources.

4. Combating Violence and Exploitation: Preventing and addressing violence, exploitation, and abuse to create safe, supportive environments where everyone can thrive.

Through our comprehensive approach, we strive to build a more just, equitable, and empowered society. Our commitment to these goals drives every initiative we undertake and every partnership we build.

Our Core Values

OUR WORK IS GUIDED BY THE FOLLOWING FIVE VALUES:

• Mutual respect: We believe that all marginalized are equal and should receive the respect they deserve as human beings regardless of their socio-economic status.

• Commitment and participation: We are devoted to improving poor people through participatory human rights based approaches.

• Solidarity: We believe is standing in team spirit with the disadvantaged excluded groups of people, immediate family members and communities will help to fight stigma and discrimination.

• Transparency and accountability: Our work has no boundaries it will be done within an open space for scrutiny and accounts to the development partners, donors, stakeholders and all the marginalized beneficiaries we serve.

• Preferential option for the Poor: CAF works to uplift livelihoods of the disadvantaged poor people and gives them preference besides respect.
