Comeback Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 2, 2026
Comeback is a job application autofill browser extension operated by Pickwick Studios LLC. Comeback is designed to help job seekers complete online employment applications faster by reusing information they choose to save while allowing the user to review and verify information before submitting an application.
Information Comeback Handles
Comeback may process information that users voluntarily provide, including name, email address, phone number, mailing address, employment history, education history, professional and social links, resume information and files, employment eligibility and sponsorship answers, salary expectations, application answers, and optional voluntary demographic information.
Comeback may also process information from the job application webpage the user is actively using, including form questions, field labels, dropdown options, company and job information, page URLs, and other application-page content necessary to provide autofill functionality.
Comeback's Fast Account Setup feature may temporarily process account information, including a username or password, when the user specifically requests assistance completing an account-creation form.
How Comeback Uses Information
Comeback uses this information only to provide its job-application functionality. This includes building the user's saved career profile, completing compatible application fields, matching saved Answer Bank responses to application questions, uploading a user-selected resume, assisting with account-creation forms, maintaining the user's application tracker, and storing recruiter or hiring-manager information selected by the user.
Comeback does not automatically submit employment applications on the user's behalf. Users are expected to review and verify their application before submission.
Local Storage and Security
Comeback is designed to keep the user's saved career information locally within the browser rather than transmitting the Comeback profile to Pickwick Studios LLC servers.
Sensitive saved profile information is protected using Comeback's local secure-vault system. Users create a PIN to lock and unlock their locally stored information.
Information intentionally entered by Comeback into a third-party employment or applicant-tracking website is transmitted to that website as part of the user's requested job application activity and is then subject to that website's privacy practices.
Resume Files
Users may provide resume information to build their Comeback profile and may save a resume for use when completing employment applications. Resume information is used to provide the requested job-application autofill functionality.
Voluntary Demographic Information
Comeback may allow users to save voluntary application answers relating to race or ethnicity, Hispanic or Latino identification, gender, veteran status, and disability status.
Providing this information to Comeback is optional. Comeback uses saved voluntary answers only to assist with corresponding employment-application questions at the user's direction. Users should review these responses before submitting an application.
Comeback does not use voluntary demographic information for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, lending decisions, or unrelated purposes.
Website and Application Information
Comeback reads information from the job application page selected by the user when necessary to identify form fields and determine which saved information corresponds to those fields.
Comeback is not designed to monitor a user's general browsing behavior, record keystrokes, track mouse movements, or build advertising profiles.
Selling and Sharing of User Data
Comeback does not sell user data.
Pickwick Studios LLC does not use or transfer Comeback user data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to Comeback's job-application functionality.
Information may be provided to an employer, applicant-tracking system, or other employment website when the user intentionally uses Comeback to complete an application on that service.
Third-Party Employment Websites
Comeback works with third-party company career websites and applicant-tracking systems. Once information is entered into or submitted to one of those services, that service's own privacy policy and terms apply.
Comeback is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party employment websites.
Data Control and Deletion
Users can manage locally saved information through Comeback's privacy and security controls. Users may delete locally stored Comeback information from the extension.
During the Comeback beta, certain Job Tracker records associated with the limited free application trial may be retained locally to maintain the integrity of the beta usage limit.
Uninstalling the extension may also remove locally stored extension data according to Chrome's extension-storage behavior.
Children's Privacy
Comeback is intended for individuals seeking employment and is not designed for children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Pickwick Studios LLC may update this Privacy Policy as Comeback evolves. Material changes to the way Comeback handles user information will be reflected in an updated version of this policy.
