We call this event
Come and See
It is our invitation for all to come to our sacred places and see the beauty inside and outside of these marvelous structures.
Purpose of this event
The purpose of this event is to open the doors of our sacred places and experience the beauty of our buildings.
Where and when will this event occur?
The places of worship participating in the Come and See event are all located in or near the Windcrest area. This event will occur on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Who is invited?
This event is open to the general public. Any and all are welcome to visit.
Is there any cost?
No, Come and See is absolutely free. Some, but not all, participating buildings might have some refreshments, but there are no costs involved. Any tours given are also free.
What can I expect to experience?
As you visit these sacred places, you will notice some unique architectural features and possibly hear of the rich history of how that building came to be.
Apart from their beauty, each of these buildings are used for various community support and outreach services. They are more than just meeting places for worship.
As you enter, you'll be warmly welcomed by our greeters. They're here to make your visit enjoyable - whether that means, answering questions, sharing the history and pointing out the features of the building, or providing a guided tour upon your request.
You'll also find staff in areas dedicated to community support and outreach, ready to explain how those services work.
Of course, if you'd rather explore on your own and take in the beauty and splendor of these sacred places at your own pace, you're more than welcome to do so.
There will not be any religious services or proselyting, during this event. Our goal is simply to give you a chance to see what it's like inside.
Do I need to visit all the places of worship?
No. This event is like an open house. You decide if you want to visit all or just a few of the six buildings. You can visit them in any order, starting at any location.
