Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Word Search IQ: Word Games (“Word Search IQ,” “the app,” “we,” “us” or “our”) accesses, uses, stores and shares information.
By downloading or using the app, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the app.
Information stored locally
Word Search IQ does not currently require users to create an account.
The app stores gameplay information on the user’s device, which may include:
• Current and completed levels
• Unfinished puzzle progress
• Words found and hints used
• Daily challenge progress
• Stars, coins and gameplay statistics
• Sound, music, haptic and visual preferences
• Temporary chapter-unlock status
• Advertising and purchase-entitlement settings
This information is used to operate the game, restore progress and remember user preferences.
Local data may be included in Android or Google device backups where device backup is enabled. Users can remove locally stored app data through Android’s application settings or by uninstalling the app. Removing local data may permanently erase gameplay progress and preferences.
Advertising
Word Search IQ uses Google advertising services, including Google AdMob or the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
The app may display:
• Banner advertisements in a designated advertising area
• Occasional interstitial advertisements after gameplay
• Voluntary rewarded advertisements for hints, bonuses or temporary content access
Rewarded advertisements are optional. Users may decline a rewarded advertisement and continue using the app, although the associated optional reward will not be provided.
Depending on the user’s region, consent choices and device settings, advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised.
Google advertising services may automatically collect or process information such as:
• Internet Protocol address, which may indicate approximate location
• Advertising ID, app-set ID and other device identifiers
• App launches, taps, ad impressions and video interactions
• Device, operating-system and app information
• Advertising performance and diagnostic information
• Information used for fraud prevention, security and frequency control
Advertising information is processed by Google according to Google’s own policies and the user’s advertising and consent settings.

Analytics
Word Search IQ uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage, improve gameplay, measure stability and identify which features are useful.
Firebase Analytics may process information including:
• App interactions and gameplay-related events
• App instance or installation identifiers
• Device model, operating system and language
• Approximate location derived from technical information
• App version, session information and general diagnostics
• Advertising-related attribution information where permitted
We use this information to analyse aggregated usage, improve puzzle difficulty, diagnose problems and develop new features. We do not use Firebase Analytics to create a public profile or require users to identify themselves by name.

Consent and privacy choices
Where legally required, Word Search IQ uses Google’s consent-management platform to request or manage advertising consent.
Available choices may depend on the user’s location. Users can also manage advertising preferences, reset or delete their advertising ID and control app permissions through Android or Google device settings.
Notifications
With the user’s permission, the app may send local word-search reminders at selected times. Reminder logic checks locally stored daily-puzzle status so notifications can remain silent after the daily challenge has been completed.
Notification permission can be withdrawn at any time through Android settings.
The app may reschedule local reminders after the device restarts or its time zone changes. Notification scheduling does not require the developer to collect the user’s contacts, messages or precise location.
Purchases
Where enabled, Word Search IQ may offer optional in-app purchases, such as removing pop-up advertising or removing forced advertising.
Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store the user’s complete payment-card details. Google Play may provide the app with transaction information, purchase status, product identifiers and entitlement information so that purchased features can be delivered and restored.

Children and age range
Word Search IQ is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed specifically at children.
We do not knowingly request names, email addresses, school information, photographs, contacts or other personal information from children. The app should not be used by children where such use would require parental consent under applicable law unless the app and its advertising configuration have been specifically adapted for that audience.

Data sharing
We may share or allow processing of information only as reasonably necessary for:
• Advertising delivery and measurement
• Analytics and app improvement
• Purchase processing and entitlement verification

Current principal service providers include Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads, Firebase Analytics and Google Play.
We do not sell users’ directly provided personal information. Advertising providers may process identifiers and interaction information according to their own policies and the user’s consent selections.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app. Information transmitted by Google advertising, Firebase and Google Play services is generally encrypted in transit.
No electronic storage or transmission system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention and deletion
Gameplay progress and preferences remain on the device until they are cleared, overwritten or the app is uninstalled.
Word Search IQ does not currently offer user accounts. Therefore, there is no developer-hosted game account to delete.
Users may:
• Clear local data through Android settings
• Uninstall the app
• Change or withdraw notification permission
• Manage advertising consent and device advertising settings

Information processed by Google is subject to Google’s retention, deletion and privacy controls.
International processing
Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country. Where required, those providers use safeguards intended to protect transferred information under applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy when features, service providers, legal obligations or data practices change.
The revised policy will show an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or store listing where appropriate.
