Daily At-Home

Health Screening

Parents are required to perform a daily health screening on their child before arriving at school.

The screening includes checking for the following symptoms.

  • Temperature

    • Must be below 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit for eligibility

    • Students must be fever-free for a minimum of 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before becoming eligible to return onsite.

  • More than 3 loose stools in 24 hours/Diarrhea

    • Students must be diarrhea-free for a minimum of 24 hours before becoming eligible to return onsite.

  • Shortness of Breath

  • Loss of smell or taste

  • Chills

  • Muscle pain

  • Vomiting

  • Sore throat

  • Cough

  • Loss of appetite

Any student who is exhibiting Covid-indicative symptoms must provide a negative Covid test before returning to school.

At present, parents' attestation of conducting a daily health screening is sufficient. However, at any time, the DOHMH may mandate a formal screening process (either on paper or electronic), and we will adopt accordingly.
