Franklin Park Conservatory

Franklin Park is an area situated on the Near East Side of Columbus, Ohio. Both the historic area and landmark, the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, are named after the park.


Located simply east of downtown Columbus, Franklin Park is the location for year round enjoyable in Central Ohio. The 100 acre shared park is a popular location for community occasions and supplies a relaxing and beautiful website for a wedding event ceremony. The park is also home to the Franklin Park Conservatory, which is a cherished gem of the city and is run by Joint Recreational District/Conservatory. During the winter season visitors concern the park to view the snow-capped trees, and to warm up inside the rich environments of the conservatory.

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a classy landmark and attraction including high quality plant collections form around the world, eye pleasing gardens indoor and outside, they have local seasonal art, shopes and the majority of exhibits are nature-based, for visitors of all ages.


The work of art of Franklin Park holds apx. forty-three kinds of palms from all around the world, some endangered and much threatened in the wild.

The Franklin Park Conservatory new Children's Garden is a must go to for anyone with children or grand kids. Well, for the matter, for any adult! This brand-new garden opened just recently and nobody will be disappointed. There is an admission cost to go into the conservatory and this garden is consisted of in the fee for the conservatory.

As grownups we were merely awe struck by the exciting and adventurous functions of the park: water, noise, movement, touch. There are volunteers and employees who exist to offer activities for kids or one can simply venture around to delight in the features of the park.

Once again, this is a need to visit ... you will not be disappointed.
