About

     The Columbus Indiana Disc Golf Club, welcomes all people interested in learning and understanding the sport of disc golf. We gladly accept everyone at any skill level. Whether you're new to the sport, or a seasoned veteran, there's no judgment here! We maintain a non-profit, volunteer organization to strengthen the sport of disc golf in the Columbus Indiana area. We aim to provide a safe environment for citizens to enjoy disc golf. The club will partake in organizing leagues and tournaments, fundraising, hosting clinics, course development, and growing the sport of disc golf.

• Chairman of the Board of Directors - Jonathan Wohlford – PDGA membership and official certification are preferred but not required. Presides over meetings, oversees operations, enforces Club rules, and serves as liaison with the PDGA.

• Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors - Brian Jones – PDGA membership and official certification are preferred but not required. Assists the Chairman and assumes leadership in their absence.

• Director of Finance - Harry Crider – Must demonstrate financial integrity and organizational skills. Manages Club funds, prepares financial reports, and ensures transparent accounting.

• Director of Facilities - Luke Jones – PDGA membership and official certification are preferred but not required. Must be willing to coordinate maintenance projects and work with parks departments. Oversees course maintenance, improvements, and development. Special Note: Substantial modifications to the Ceraland Lakeside Disc Golf Course require consultation and approval from its founder and designer, Luke Jones and the Ceraland GM.  

• Director of Promotions – Elizabeth Strimple – PDGA membership and official certification are preferred but not required. Must have strong communication skills. Must have organizational and event management skills. Manages public relations, fundraising, and outreach with parks, sponsors, and media. 

• Director of Programming – Bryant Foley – PDGA membership and official certification are preferred but not required. Must have organizational and event management skills. Oversees tournaments, leagues, fundraisers, and schedules.

• Secretary – Luke Jones – Records minutes from Board of Directors meetings and maintains official Club documents.  Emails all minutes to the CIDGClub@gmail.com club email account

• Board of Directors Members at Large - Brandon Moore, Steve Combs, Jacob Hendricks – Serve as advisors to the Board. Their input is valued in discussions and planning, though they do not hold voting rights. These positions allow for broader community representation and provide a path for developing future officers.
