Test out Guidelines:

Youth ages 12-14 years of age who pass the QA test out will need to retake the test when they reach the age of 15
Youth ages 15-18 years of age who pass the QA test can test out of their annual QA program permanently
All ages are based on a member's 4-H age (the age that they are as of January 1 of the current year)
QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST OUT DATES • By Appointment Only- Call Audrey Dimmerling to schedule a time before May 1st , 2026

CLINIC DATES

Beef Projects: Any beef show, jackpot, or cattlemens educational event that occurs after the 2025 fair can count as a clinic for the 2026 year. Committee sponosored clinics will be posted laster. Send proof to Nicole. Beef: Keep in mind that you must have a steer purchased and tagged by Decemember 31, 2025 to show. Info will be coming out about tagging.

Goats: June 27 : 9-noon: Fair Office: Bring completed books and complete the skillathon. (Make Up day: July 7)

Lambs: Skillathon and Book Grading: July 7 : 6-8 PM Fair Office & July 11th: 9-Noon: Government Building

Hogs: Skillathon Practice and Prep: June 18 : 6-8 PM Hog Barn

Mandatory Book Grading and Skillathon: July 11, 9-Noon: Arts and Crafts Building.

(Books must get graded!) Skillathon is not mandatory)

Beef: Skillathon and Book Grading: July 7 : 6-8 PM RSVP to Nikki) & July 11 8-10am. Beef Barn

Dairy: Book Grading Mandatory: July 11 9-noon Dairy Barn

Dairy Beef Feeder: Skillathon and Book Grading: July 11 9-noon Beef Barn

Turkey: Skillaton and book Grading: July 1 : 6-7 PM & July 11 9-12 Turkey Barn

Horse: Mandatory Skillathon and Book Grading for ALL: July 11 9-12 Horse Barn
