Speaker: Everyone
Title: Organizational Meeting
Abstract:
10/3
Speaker: Andrew Navruzyan
Title: Feynman Combinatorics
Abstract: We will prove that moments of Gaussian distributions - and their perturbed counterparts - can be described as graph sums via the famous Wick/Isserlis's theorem and combinatorical arguments. The QFT significance of these results will also be discussed.
10/17
Speaker: Andrew Navruzyan
Title: Psi Classes and Ribbon Graphs
Abstract: We prove the version of Feynman rules relevant for matrix models and discuss how Kontsevich used them to prove Witten's conjecture, establishing a deep connection between integrable heirarchies and the moduli of curves.
