Quasimap to flag variety and universal Verma module

The space of quasimaps to flag variety, also known as Laumon space, gives a geometric realization of universal Verma module of the quantum group U_q(sl_n) via localized equivariant K-theory. I will talk about a refinement of this result that identifies the (non-localized) K-theory with the dual Verma module of an integral form of U_q(sl_n). Time permitting, I will discuss how to generalize this to affine Laumon space and quantum affine algebra.
