The Colton Classic is more than just a poolside party—it's a celebration of life, resilience, and hope. Named after Colton Hanson, a smart, healthy, and fun-loving 10-year-old, this annual event honors his journey and the incredible care that made it possible.
Colton spent the first half of his life bravely battling cancer. Thanks to the life-saving treatment and compassionate care provided by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, Colton is now thriving. St. Jude never sends a bill to families for treatment, travel, housing, or food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
The Colton Classic raises funds to support St. Jude and help other children fighting cancer get the chance to live full, carefree lives—just like Colton. Every dollar raised brings hope to a family, advances research, and makes healing possible.
Join us in making a difference. Play, relax, donate—and be part of something powerful. To donate - text "coltonclassic" to 707070
What to Expect at the Colton Classic
Get ready for a day of sun, fun, and friendly competition at the 4th Annual Colton Classic—a tropical-themed fundraiser like no other!
At the heart of the event is our signature water volleyball setup. Competitive players can join the 3-on-3 tournament, battling it out in the pool for bragging rights and awesome prizes. Whether you're a seasoned player or just diving in for the first time, the tournament is all about high energy and great cause.
Prefer a more laid-back vibe? Jump into our 5-on-5 just-for-fun water volleyball games, perfect for laughing, splashing, and enjoying time with friends—all without keeping score. There’s something for every skill level and mood.
This year’s theme is full-on Hawaiian Luau—think palm trees, bright florals, leis, and tropical beats. Dress in your best island gear and soak up the spirit of the islands with a festive atmosphere all around.
Between games, enjoy island-inspired food and tropical drinks that will keep you fueled and refreshed all day long. Whether you're sipping a fruity cocktail poolside or grabbing a bite of grilled goodness, you won’t leave hungry.
And the fun doesn’t stop in the pool. We’ll have plenty of other games and activities, including corn hole, basketball, and surprises throughout the day. Whether you're in it to win it or just here to have fun, there's never a dull moment.
Come for the cause, stay for the fun—and help us raise money for the kids of St. Jude.
