Certified Personal Colour Analysist

Krysta joined KG Hair Salon in June of 2024, but has been working in the hair industry for over 12 years. 

She graduated from VIU hairdressing program in 2011. After pursuing modeling opportunities in Montreal, Quebec and Cannes, France. She began working at a large educational salon in Nanaimo where she spent nine years honing her skills and fostering connections with her community and expanding clientele. from there, she spent 3 years working independently, before joining the KG Salon team. 

Most recently, Krysta's obsession with colour theory has lead to her pursuing training in Personalized Colour Analysis. She has completed her 30 hour online qualification, and then followed it up with a 3 day, full time mastery program awarding her a certificate from the International Image Institute in Toronto, Canada, making her Vancouver Islands Colour focused image consultant.

She can now provide her clients with in depth recommendations to help them shine brightest, giving a colour palette that best compliments your skin, eyes, and features! She is a proud member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), the leading global professional association for image consultants. the AICI sets international standards  for excellence in image consulting, personal branding, and profesional development. Membership reflects commitment to ongoing education, ethical practice, and the highest level of service within the image industry.
