Privacy Policy — Color Trap: Brain Test
Effective date: August 2, 2026
Color Trap: Brain Test ("the Game") is developed and published by Edgar Official Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Game collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Android version of the Game and, when released, the iOS version.

1. Two ways to play
Guest mode (no sign-in). You can play without signing in. In guest mode the Game stores nothing permanently: your score, coins and progress exist only while the app is open and are lost when the app closes. No account is created and no gameplay data leaves your device, other than the advertising and analytics data described in sections 4 and 5.
Signed in with Google. If you choose to sign in with your Google account, your progress is saved to our cloud database so it can be restored on any device where you sign in with the same account.
2. What we collect when you sign in
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:
Data
Purpose
Google account identifier (email address and a unique user ID)
Identifying your save data and restoring it across devices
Google display name
Shown as your name on the public leaderboard
Game progress (scores, coins, unlocked levels, purchased themes, settings that follow your account, purchase entitlements such as Remove Ads)
Saving and restoring your game
This data is stored in Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), operated by Google LLC, in the asia-southeast1 (Singapore) region. Data in transit is protected by HTTPS/TLS encryption, and server-side security rules restrict your saved game so that only you, signed in with your own account, can read or write it. Your leaderboard entry is the one exception and is described in section 3.
Your email address is held by Firebase Authentication as your account identifier. It is not written into your saved game, is never shown to other players, and is not used for marketing — we do not send marketing email.
3. Leaderboard is public
If you sign in and play a scoring mode, your best score and your Google display name appear on the Game's global leaderboard, visible to all other signed-in players. If you do not want your name shown publicly, do not sign in, or change your display name in your Google account settings, or delete your account in the Game (section 7).
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and coarse usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message is shown before any personalised ad is served, and you can decline personalised advertising.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device's Google settings.
Purchasing Remove Ads permanently disables banner and interstitial ads.
5. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage of the Game. We do not log custom events about how you play; the Game relies on the automatic measurement built into Firebase Analytics, which records app opens, session length, app version, device model, operating system version, and country derived from IP address, together with a pseudonymous app-instance identifier and, on Android, the advertising ID.
Analytics data is aggregated and does not include your name or email address. It is not combined with your saved game.
6. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details. We store only the entitlement resulting from a purchase (for example, that your account owns Remove Ads or a coin pack) so it can be restored with your account.
7. Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account and all associated data inside the Game:
Settings → Delete account & data — confirm twice, then re-select your Google account when asked. This permanently deletes your cloud save, your leaderboard entry, your authentication record, and all local data. This cannot be undone.
If you can no longer access the Game, email us at edgarofficialstudio@gmail.com from the Google email address you used to sign in, with the subject "Delete my Color Trap data", and we will delete your data within 30 days.
Signing out (without deleting) keeps your cloud save so you can return later; it removes your progress from the device you signed out of.
8. Data retention
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (section 7), the data is removed immediately from our database. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not share it with anyone except the providers named in this policy (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play) as required to operate the Game.
9. Where your data is stored, and your rights
Your saved game is stored on Google's servers in Singapore. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, this means your data is transferred outside your region; the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses that Google applies as our processor.
Our legal basis for processing is:
Consent — for signing in and saving your progress (you choose to sign in; guest play requires no account), and for personalised advertising (asked separately through the consent message described in section 4).
Legitimate interests — for the minimum analytics needed to keep the Game working and to fix faults.
You have the right to access your data, to correct it, to receive a copy of it, to withdraw consent, and to have your data erased. The fastest way to erase everything is the in-Game button in section 7. For any other request, email edgarofficialstudio@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Withdrawing consent for personalised ads does not stop ads entirely; it makes them non-personalised. To remove ads altogether, use the Remove Ads purchase.
10. Children
The Game is a general-audience reflex game and is not directed at children under 13. It does not ask for age and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Permissions the Game requests
The Game requests only what it needs to run, and asks for no access to your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or precise location:
Permission
Why
Internet & network state
Saving to the cloud, leaderboard, ads
Vibrate
Haptic feedback on taps
Advertising ID
Ad measurement (see section 4)
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date. Material changes will be noted in the Game's store listing or in-app.
