Your Flag. Our Ship. One Day in Her History.
Your Flag. Our Ship. One Day in Her History.
Some ships sit behind glass. USS LST 393 is still here. More than eight decades after she went to war, this World War II Landing Ship Tank remains afloat on the Muskegon waterfront. Now, you can make one day aboard her yours. Through the Colors Over the 393 Flag Program, an American flag will be raised aboard USS LST 393 on a date you choose in honor of a veteran, loved one, family, military unit, organization, anniversary, retirement, birthday, or other occasion worth remembering. Afterward, the flag is lowered, folded, and returned to you with a personalized certificate documenting that it was flown aboard USS LST 393.
