Privacy Policy - ColorKiddo
We do not collect any personal information about you or your child.
There is no account to create, no sign-in, no email address to give, and no form to fill in. There are no advertisements, no analytics, and nothing that tracks you or your child, in this app or anywhere else.
The one exception to "nothing leaves the device" is buying something, and that is described in full below.
What the app stores, and where
Everything below stays on the device, in the app's own private storage. None of it is sent to us, and we have no way of seeing it.
Unfinished pictures. When your child colours a picture, the colouring is saved so they can carry on with it later.
The day/night setting, and whether sound is on or off. Two on-or-off preferences.
A parental-gate timer. If the birth-year question is answered wrongly three times, the time at which it may be tried again is stored, so that closing and reopening the app does not bypass the wait.
Whether this device bought the app before it became free, so those customers keep everything they paid for.
Deleting the app removes all of this from the device.
Colouring works offline
The colouring itself needs no internet connection. Every picture is inside the app, and a child can colour, save and print with the device in aeroplane mode.
An internet connection is used only when a grown-up buys a subscription or the lifetime unlock, restores a previous purchase, or when the app checks whether a purchase is still valid.
Purchases
ColorKiddo offers optional in-app purchases, reachable only after a parental gate. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or receive your card details, billing address, or Apple Account.
To keep track of what has been unlocked, and to restore it if you reinstall the app or use another device, we use RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. This is the one third party involved in the app, and it is used for purchases only — not for advertising, not for analytics, and not for tracking.
What RevenueCat receives:
the App Store transaction for a purchase, and whether it is still active;
a randomly generated identifier for the installation. It is not your name, not your email address, and not your Apple Account. We do not link it to any person, and we could not do so.
RevenueCat processes this on our behalf and is not permitted to use it for any other purpose. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
If you never buy anything, nothing is ever sent.
Photos
If your child taps the camera button, the finished picture is saved to the device's own photo library. iOS will ask for your permission the first time.
The picture goes straight into your photo library and nowhere else. We do not receive a copy, and the app never reads your existing photos — the permission it asks for only allows adding new ones.
Children's privacy
ColorKiddo is intended for young children, including children under 13.
The app collects no personal information from anyone, so it collects none from children. Nothing in it asks a child for their name, age, location, photograph or contact details. There is no messaging, no user-generated content shared with anyone, no advertising, and no way for a child to browse the web from the app.
Buying anything is behind a parental gate designed so that a young child cannot pass it, and purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat as described above. The only information involved is a purchase record and a random identifier; neither identifies your child.

Crash reports
The app contains no crash-reporting software. If you have separately turned on Apple's "Share With App Developers" setting on your device, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash statistics. That is a feature of iOS rather than of this app, it is controlled entirely by you in the iOS Settings app, and it contains no personal information.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Any future version that collects anything more will say so plainly.
