I built this app, ColorFilla, to be secure, simple, and respectful of your privacy. My philosophy is simple: I do not want your personal data, and I do not sell your data.

1. What We Do Not Collect

To put your mind at ease, here is what we never touch:

• No AI Training: Your photos and inputs are never used to train the AI models.

• No Personal Storage: Your photos never leave your device for permanent storage. They are processed and then discarded immediately.

• No Sales: We never sell your data to third parties.

2. Data We Collect & Why

We limit data collection to the bare minimum required for the app to function, process payments, and measure performance.

A. Photos & Generated Content

• What: Images you upload or generate.

• Why: To provide the core AI editing features.

• How it works: Images are transmitted securely via AIProxy to the Gemini API for processing. They are not stored by us or the AI provider after the request is complete.

B. Identifiers & Technical Data

• What: Device ID, coarse IP address, and crash data.

• Why:

  1. Security: To prevent API abuse and manage usage limits (via AIProxy).

  2. Stability: To fix crashes and bugs (via Facebook/Meta SDKs).

  3. Attribution: To know if you found our app through an advertisement.

C. Purchase History

• What: Receipt validation and subscription status.

• Why: To unlock Pro features across your devices and prevent fraud.

• Who: We use RevenueCat and Superwall to manage this. We do not have access to your credit card details; Apple handles all transactions.

3. Advertising & Tracking

We do not display third-party ads in the app. However, we market the app on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

To measure the effectiveness of our own marketing, we use the Meta (Facebook) SDK.

• Tracking Transparency: We may ask for your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.

• If you allow tracking: We share a unique identifier with Meta to see if an ad you saw led to an install. This helps us afford to keep the app running.

• If you decline tracking: We will not share this identifier with Meta for ad attribution purposes. The app will function exactly the same regardless of your choice.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with trusted services to provide app functionality. They process limited data on our behalf and are strictly prohibited from selling it.

AIProxy

• Purpose: Securely forwards your requests to the AI engine. It handles security and usage limits. It does not store or profile your content.

Google Gemini

• Purpose: The AI engine used for generating or editing your images. Data sent here is not used for model training.

RevenueCat

• Purpose: Manages your subscription status and verifies App Store receipts.

Superwall

• Purpose: Displays paywalls and measures anonymous paywall events (e.g., how many people viewed the purchase screen).

Meta (FacebookCore & FBSDKCoreKit)

• Purpose: Used for crash reporting and to measure if our ads are working (conversion measurement).

5. Your Rights & Control

• Photos: You can revoke photo library access at any time in your iPhone Settings.

• Tracking: You can change your tracking preferences at any time in Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

• Opt-Out: You can delete the app to remove local data. Since we do not create user accounts or store your data on our servers, deleting the app removes your footprint.
