Our Philosophy
I designed ColorFilla to be lightweight, secure, and privacy-friendly. — Jordan Zeleny, Developer
Your photos are never stored or collected by me: They are sent only to the AI service that makes your coloring page.
Zero ads or ad trackers: ColorFilla contains no advertising SDKs and never asks to track you.
Never sold or monetized: Your data is never sold or shared for advertising.
No AI training: Your photos and inputs are never used to train AI models.
No unnecessary permissions: The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo, and Photos access only to save pages you export.
Data Collection
The app collects a small amount of anonymized data to support purchases and keep the app stable. None of it is linked to your identity, used for tracking, sold, or used for advertising.
In-App Purchases: Anonymous purchase history, used to unlock features you've paid for, restore purchases, and measure sales.
Crash Data: If the app crashes or misbehaves, an anonymous crash report (device model, OS version, and the app's state at the time) is collected via Google Firebase Crashlytics so I can find and fix bugs.
Usage Analytics: Anonymous statistics about paywall views and interactions, via Superwall and RevenueCat, used only to improve the app.
Device ID and IP Address: An anonymous, app-specific identifier (never your name or Apple Account) is used by the purchase and paywall services above to restore purchases and count usage. Like any online service, they also receive your IP address when the app connects. Not linked to your identity and not used for tracking.
AI Coloring Page Creation
ColorFilla's AI features turn your photos and ideas into coloring pages. They only run after you allow it in the in-app “Data Sharing Permission” prompt. Browsing the Explore library works on your device without them.
Photos and Prompts: When you create a coloring page, the photo you choose and/or the text you type is transmitted securely through AIProxy to OpenAI, only to generate your page. OpenAI retains API content for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and then deletes it. It is not used to train any AI model. I never receive, store, or retain your photos.
AI Edits and Coloring: When you use “Edit with AI” or the AI color fill, a snapshot of your current page and the instructions you type are transmitted the same way to generate the result. Please do not type anything into the AI chat that you would not want transmitted for processing.
Device ID and IP Address: Additionally used by AIProxy to enforce per-device usage limits when you use the AI features.
If You Decline Permission: You can still browse and color pages from the Explore library. Creating new pages from your own photos or ideas requires the AI service.
Saved Pages
Pages you save to Favorites are stored only on your device. I have no access to them. Delete them any time in the app, or delete the app to remove everything.
Website
The free photo-to-coloring-page tool on colorfilla.com sends the photo you upload to OpenAI only to generate your page; it is not stored by me. The website uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which collect anonymous, cookie-free visit and performance statistics.
Data Sharing
Anonymous data is shared with the following trusted third-party services to provide and improve app functionality. None of it is linked to your identity or used for tracking.
Google Firebase Crashlytics: Processes anonymous crash reports to help me fix bugs. Configured without any advertising identifier. Firebase Privacy

OpenAI: Processes the photos, page images, and text you submit to the AI features to generate your coloring pages. OpenAI Privacy Policy
Purchase Information
All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. I never access or store your credit card or payment details.
Data Retention and Deletion
I run no servers that store your content. Photos and text sent to the AI services are retained only transiently by those providers (OpenAI: up to 30 days for abuse monitoring). Anonymous purchase, crash, and paywall records are retained by the services above per their own policies. Everything stored on your device is yours: delete it any time in the app, or by deleting the app.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
