FOREGROUND_SERVICE_PHONE_CALL

Foreground service permissions during an active phone call, our In Call Service runs as a foreground service with type phone Call. This shows an ongoing call notification so the user can return to the in-call screen. The service stops when the call ends

FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE

Our app uses a foreground service to reliably detect incoming calls and instantly display the user's selected call theme overlay when the phone rings. This feature is user-initiated, opt-in, and requires real-time call state monitoring, which cannot be performed reliably through normal background execution due to Android restrictions. The service shows a persistent notification while active and stops when the feature is disabled or no longer needed. The service is used solely to trigger the custom incoming call theme experience.

Full-screen intent

 USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT permission. 

Full-screen intent our app is a phone dialer with a custom call screen. We use full-screen intent so incoming and active calls can show the in-call UI immediately, including when the device is locked, so users can answer or manage calls without missing them.

SMS and Call log permissions

READ_CALL_LOG permission.

Call log permissions Color Phone is a dialer and call screen theme app. We use READ_CALL_LOG only to display the user's recent call history (all calls and missed calls) on the Recent screen. Call log data stays on the device, is not uploaded to our servers, and is not used for ads or analytics. The user is asked for permission before we

read call logs.

3. Third Party Access
