Alpha Beta Omega Alumni Chapter is a dynamic collective of professional men dedicated to lifelong service and fraternal excellence. As alumni brothers, we continue the work we began as undergraduates—strengthening families, mentoring youth, supporting education, and advancing social justice.
We proudly serve as the foundation for the growth of Iota Phi Theta in Colorado, fostering fellowship among brothers while creating opportunities for expansion, engagement, and impact statewide.
The Alpha Beta Omega chapter was chartered May 15, 1995 in Greeley, Colorado by three Brown and Gold Brothers:
Bro. Wilbert "Rocky" Boyd
Bro. Cliff "Space Ghost" Eubanks
Bro. Clarence "Maat" Wallace
The Chapter would reestablished on June 14, 2021 by eight Brown and Gold Brothers :

The Far West Region (originally, the West Coast Region) of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. was established on June 18, 1983 by Brother Robert Clark (Alpha Lambda Chapter, University of Illinois). The founding chapters were ALPHA CHI (San Francisco State University) and XI OMEGA (San Francisco Alumni). Besides actualizing the Fraternity Motto, “BUILDING A TRADITION, NOT RESTING UPON ONE”, the FAR WEST REGION also abides by its own adopted precepts: “SOCIAL SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM, BROTHERHOOD”.
Far West chapters have received numerous awards and recognition from the NAACP, UNCF, the Judie Davis Marrow Donor Program, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and many other local, community organizations and programs.
Additionally, brothers from the FWR have gone forth to establish chapters in other regions of Iota: Gamma Chi (Florida A&M), Gamma Omicron (University of Florida), Eta Zi (Virginia Tech)
On September 19, 1963, at Morgan State College (now Morgan State University), 12 students founded what is now one of the nation's largest, predominately African-American social service fraternities: Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated ®.
