The Cutthroats finally got to square off against Loc-Nar. Their game was previously postponed due to rain.
With the Cutthroats running low on pitching, they had to turn to utility player Kenneth Reichelt to take the mound. Reichelt went 7 innings giving up 5 earned runs and earning the win as well as COTW honors. Kellen Sorauf made his pitching season debut coming in relief.
The runs didn't start to pour in for the Cutthroats until the 5th inning. What was once a close game, turned into a rout. Reichelt, Daub, Bielecki, and Esquibel all had three hits apiece. Jon Bielecki had five hits-which tied the franchise record for hits in a game. Reichelt scored five times-also a franchise record.
With the win, the Cutthroats moved to (9-5) on the season. Loc-Nar dropped to
(7-7).
