Cutthroats took on another National League foe-the Bad News Bears. It was bad news for the Bears from the get-go. Phillip Powers took the mound for the Cutthroats pitching a complete game while giving up 2 runs. Powers' strong pitching performance was enough to give him COTW honors.
Andy Daub and Joe Cordo both had three hits apiece to boost the Cutthroat offense. Cordo knocked in four runs and Daub added two RBIs of his own.
