For the first four innings the Colorado Cutthroats looked pretty stout, but danger came in the 5th. Timely hitting by the Hitmen and very costly errors by the Cutthroats resulted in a five-run 5th inning.

The Cutthroats scored some runs of their own, but it was too little too late. The Hitmen took the game 7-5.
