The Colorado Cutthroats dropped their second straight game on Sunday night, falling 12-0 to the Mile High Zombies under the lights at Double Angel. The 'Throat scuffled at the plate again, managing only 4 hits and getting only one runner past second base in 8 innings. Jon Bielecki made his first start of the season throwing 7 innings and allowing 5 hits, 6 runs (2 earned), and 2 walks, and striking out 9. Bielecki also accounted for 1 of the Cutthroats' 4 hits. Tim Hairr also pitched in with a single and nearly turned the momentum of the game with a broken bat blooper that was snow-coned by the Zombies' second baseman with two runners on base.Sunday's game marked the end of a difficult two week period for the Cutthroats, as they played the two most experienced teams in the league in back-to-back weeks after a three week lay-off from the 'Throats Opening Day win against the Harvesters.The Cutthroats' next game is at 12:00pm on Sunday, May 6th at Double Angel Ballpark against Loc Nar.
