The Colorado Cutthroats suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday, getting shutout by the Denver Juice, 12-0.
The Cutthroats managed only 2 hits, and only 1 after Mike Picchetti's ringing double in the first innings. The Juice hitters took advantage of several walks issued by Cutthroats pitching and dictated the pace of the game with some long innings on offense.
Defensively, the Cutthroats continue to play above average defense, which should help them continue to compete going forward.
