With one game remaining before the first break of the 2013 season, the Colorado Cutthroats dropped to 1-5 after a 14-4 loss at the hands of the Bad News Bears.
After the 'Throats jumped out to a 3-0 lead, the Bears roared to life in the 4th, scoring 8 runs off of Cutthroats starter Jon Bielecki. After 5 innings, the Cutthroats found themselves down 11-4 and could not mount a comeback.
The top of the Cutthroats order did all the damage offensively, scoring and driving in all 4 of the team's runs, but as a team, the Cutthroats managed only 7 hits and a walk in 8 innings.
Wes Sconce earned his second Cutthroat Of The Week for 2013, after picking up three singles, two runs scored, and a pair of stolen bases while playing the whole game behind the plate.
