Colonial Letter Boxes in Service

Today, only 59 British letter boxes from the colonial era are still serving Hongkongers. They have witnessed many important chapters of Hong Kong’s history and are themselves part of it.

Under the current social atmosphere, the existence of these remaining British letter boxes may be under threat. We hope to preserve this part of Hong Kong’s heritage by helping more people learn about it, rather than letting it fade away in silence.
